Raising standards is a good idea. But, it is not the only thing that matters.

We have created a governing body to help ensure that ... “playing with ideas” is seen as equally important to our success as attaining the highest level of technical standards. To stop those who do things a little differently - from being seen and treated as substandard. To stop a valid desire to raise standards from shutting down the space and opportunity for everyone to play with their own ideas.

Our brains are meant to rewire to better suit our own personal circumstances. As we are all different and living different lives no two brains are wired in the same way. We are all meant - to varying degrees - to be neurodiverse from each other. We are not meant to be standard.
